OPEN POSITIONS:

LEAD LINE COOK

We are looking for a responsible, lead line cook. Fry Station preferred or a mixed station schedule. 

Looking for part-time or full-time? We can explore either.

Need health insurance? We think it’s important and is offered to everyone working over 30 hours.

Pay: $20-$26 DOE.

Schedule: PM Sunday MANDATORY. We can work together to find the rest of the week 

Woodblock is a vibrant neighborhood restaurant, with an open kitchen, in downtown Redmond.  This role promises optimal opportunity for growth and expert training in a lively positive work environment.

A successful candidate will have:

  • 3 years kitchen and line cooking experience required 

  • Setting up and preparing for service.

  • Cleaning and closing at end of the night.

  • Understand and will maintain safety and health procedures

Woodblock is a family-owned, casual, fast-paced bar and restaurant in downtown Redmond that loves our craft and sharing amazing food with others. Are you: outgoing, organized, team-oriented, reliable, a multi-tasker & like a fast-paced environment? Woodblock may be for you. The ideal candidate will love meeting and warmly talking with people while helping them get a seat. They will be able to provide basic information about the menu and deliver food, clear tables and provide excellent customer service as part of a team.

Flexible schedule.

Hiring for: Weekday Lunch and Saturday/Sunday

Pay: Approx $26.50= $17.50/hr + tips.

HEALTH INSURANCE for 30+ hours/week.

Bartender

~$40 = $15/hr + tips

Woodblock is a family-owned cocktail bar in downtown Redmond. Winner of 2020's 425Magazine Best Cocktail and Best Happy Hour. We are looking for an experienced bartender to join a team-oriented crew. You must love to share your passion for spirits with customers and staff in a casual, friendly manner. There is nothing pretentious about Woodblock. You will need a knowledge of wine and beer as well. The ideal candidate will have experience creating craft cocktails from scratch, recipe development, knowledge of the spirits and processes, as well as a fun outgoing personality that can multi-task and deliver exceptional service. Must be able to work weekends and days as well as night shifts.
